Foret
Tradition was created ten years ago with only two members. Ryan
Foret
played keyboards and did all the singing and Brandon Foret played the
drums.
Their first album, "Dance With Me" was recorded in 1999 and that album
was
the starting point for the Foret Tradition. The second album,
"Lost
In Te 50's was released in 2001.The year 2003 brought some changes to
the
band. Brandon learned how to play the saxophone. The band's
third
album, "Hey Good Lookin'" was released and Christopher Daigle joined
the
band on drums. 2003 also brought a guitar player to the band,
Wade Pavolini
from Kiln, MS..2005 brought the fourth album, "Tee Nah Nah". Tee
Nah
Nah was a tremendous hit for the band, selling more copies in one year
than
any previous release to date. The band was in demand, playing the
Gulf
Coast from Mississippi to Texas. In 2006, more changes were made in the
band.
Christoper Daigle left to raise his family and Brandon left the
band.
Three new members joined, Lupe Valdivez Jr. on drums and Jules
Calderera
on saxophone and Beau St.Pierre on trumpet. This group was
together
for several months until Jules left the band in October, his exit
making Foret Tradition a four piece group again.

At the beginning of
2007,
the band hired one
of the best bass players in Louisiana, Jeremy
Billiot. The biggest boost ever given to the band
came in 2007 with one of South Louisiana's
greatest musicians, Jason Parfait on saxophone
and vocals.
Jason
was a great addition
to the band, our
missing link.. There were several more
personell changes to the band in 2008, James
Spells on trumpet came aboard. James has
played with many artists, including GG Shinn,
Don Rich, Kane Glaze, Blue Eyed Soul and
many more...James adds the last piece to the
Bayou Soul Horns. He is a great addition to
the group, one that the band has been missing.
The name of the group
is
now Ryan Foret and
Foret Tradition. Our new CD, "She's Mine" is
being released by our new label, CSP Records
and we are hoping our fans make this CD our
largest seller to date. The band is performing
four nights a week and is real tight.
The band performs selections that include Swamp
Pop, R&B, Soul, Funk, Motown, Country, Top 40,
80's rock and Zydeco, and we would love to see
you at one of our performances! Come out and
join Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition tonight!
